Denver Pops Orchestra is pleased to welcome back our loyal patrons to our 42nd season. While the circumstances of the past 18 months have been challenging for everyone, we have remained hopeful that the music of Denver Pops would return and so we are thrilled to say, "We are back!"

Words like courage, heartbreak and resilience of the human spirit capture our return to the concert stage. The centerpiece of our concert is a work we commissioned, We Will Soar, for the centennial of the 19th Amendment which was ratified on August 18, 1920. Elena Specht composed this piece to honor women who persistently and courageously fought for women’s rights. Additionally, we’ll feature the music of Verdi, Smetana and Strauss as well as the Broadway show, Les Misérables. We open our season with music that acknowledges human achievements and signals our desire to move forward with hope, determination and confidence.

The October concert will take place at the Historic Grant Ave located at 216 S Grant Street in South Denver. Street parking is available near Grant Ave. Please read all street signs as some restrictions do apply including no parking on Sherman between Cedar and Alameda, without a permit.

COVID Protocol:

  • All guests will be required to show proof of vaccination or negative COVID test (taken within 72 hours of the concert date).
