Denver Pops Orchestra is proud to welcome back our loyal patrons to season number 43. We have navigated through a number of challenges over the last several months but we are thrilled to bring an exciting year of great music for the entire family.
Our season opener offers music from the classical side of Denver Pops. Don’t let the word classical scare you off, though. You will surely recognize many of the themes you will hear whether it’s a Haydn symphony or Rossini Overture. This music has become embedded in our everyday lives in surprising ways. The highlight of this concert will be a beautiful arrangement of a Tchaikovsky string quartet that features our principal horn, Domingo Munoz-Esparza. While this is an inspiring piece of music, so is the rest of our program. You’ll hear folk-like musical themes of Bizet, a rousing Rossini Overture, a bit of a surprise from Haydn and, of course, a wonderful waltz by Johann Strauss, Jr. Join us as we celebrate the beginning of another fantastic season with the Denver Pops.
